Premier Auto Body has been locally owned and operated by Baker County natives Joe and Noel Scott since opening in January 2000. The opportunity to have his own business has been a dream of Joe’s since beginning work in the field in 1983.
Joe was raised in Haines and attended school in North Powder, graduating in 1982. He obtained his degree as a body, fender and paint technician from Wyoming Technical Institute in 1983. After graduating from Wyoming Tech, Joe worked at Phillips-Long Ford and Rick’s Auto Body, both in Baker City, for the 17 years prior to realizing the dream of his own business.
Joe is an ICAR Platinum Technician, a DuPont certified painter, and holds many other certifications in all aspects of the field.
Noel was raised in Hereford and attended school at Burnt River, graduating in 1984. She obtained her degree as a radiology technologist from Oregon Institute of Technology in 1987. Noel returned to Baker County in 1993 as a technologist at St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she worked full time until opening Premier Auto Body in 2000. Noel remained part time at the hospital until 2005 when she officially left the hospital to join Joe at Premier Auto Body full time.
Their daughter Riana frequently joins them at the shop and is anxious to learn whatever she can. *She operates a broom well!*
The staff at Premier Auto Body maintain various certifications in all aspects of the field, and routinely obtain continuing education. Joe and Noel know that you expect and deserve the best, and all staff is required to meet their high standards on every repair.
